Ashley Jefferson is the Founder and Head Consultant of Genesis Legal Nurse Consulting, LLC. Ashley is a Certified Registered Nurse and a Legal Nurse Consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida, go Bulls!

Ashley started her career as a Registered Nurse in 2011, first in pediatrics and then transitioned to a high acuity labor and delivery unit in 2015. She then became a traveling nurse in 2016 before settling in the PNW with her family.

​

She has continued her education with the International Association of Forensic Nurses, Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention, and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children to provide care to those affected by sexual assault, intimate partner violence, strangulation, human trafficking, and child abuse.

Ashley is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics [RNC-OB] and in Electronic Fetal Monitoring [C-EFM.] She has a complex knowledge of the intricacies inside of the healthcare system. Her wealth of knowledge and experience makes her an asset to any firm’s litigation process.

Day in and day out, nursing and record review are what we do. Ashley and the nurses on her team have gone through the steps of the nursing process; Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. We can take these skills and switch gears while reviewing medical records to provide an unbiased and non-judgmental approach to case review.
